The Snow Man
By: MarcPaperScissor

I stepped outside this morning
It was as cold as it could be
But the warmth of my clothes
Warmed up my toes
As I snacked on my muffin and tea
It was colder than expected
And a snow man I erected right there on the freshly fallen snow
And such a magical thing he began to sing
And started to talk and grow
He grew to my size with peas for his eyes
And a smile that made you think
How could this snow
Just magically grow?
And start to talk and wink
He was so petite and now He’s 6 feet
How did you get so tall?
And he said never mind that
Just give me your hat
And he threatened me with a snow ball
So I said not that and I gave him my hat
And then he pointed to my feet
And he said I’ve got bad news
Hand over your shoes
Or this snowball you’ll have to meet
So I gave him my shoes as I did with a racket
And said sorry buddy but hand over your jacket
So I gave him my jacket
And he said thanks a lot
But you better give me your pants
They look so comfy and hot
So I gave him my slacks
And he said it’s just tax
Just think warm, stay calm and relaxed
And with those words
He hopped on his way
With all of my clothes on that cold, cold day
Hey I still had my muffin
And I still had my tea
Hey wait he even took that from me
