The
Man On The Street
By: MarcPaperScissor
|
A Man with no home is no different
you see
Than a prince or a queen or a party for three
Cause we’re all on this earth we’re in
this together
Through the days of war and all the bad weather
So put on your coat, but don’t overdress
Leave it to me to handle the stress
So move on, keep moving to that next warm space
And don’t count your steps and you won’t
leave a trace
If your mind’s not around, you’re not
to be found
Just wander, to wander, to wander the ground
To turn up with nothing but the thoughts in your mind
To search and to search and to finally find
Yourself and your being is what you need most
Your mind is the matter your bodies the host
A home for your mind, a place for your brain
Save up your thoughts to jump on the train
A train to a place, where no one can go
A place that’s too fast for its grass to grow
And that’s where you lay, on this beautiful
day
With no thoughts in your head and no words left to
say
