We have the chance to make a choice
To sing out loud a different voice
One that no one's seen or heard
To free your mind from a look or a word
Fly your spirit as strange as can be
Don’t be afraid for the public to see
For the way people act and the way people are
We're all preconceptions viewed from a far
So if you want to be someone you think that you are
Don’t go to search and pretend at the bar
Go stand in the mirror and look beyond your skin
And realize you’re you with a look and a grin
